About the Deposit

A ¥500 deposit is included with each IC card.
The deposit will be refunded upon return of the IC card.

How to Return Your IC Card

After use, please return your IC card to an on-site IC card return machine or the designated return counter.
When you insert the card into the return machine, your deposit will be refunded.

If You Lose Your IC Card

If you lose your IC card, the deposit cannot be refunded.
As a general rule, chair lift passes cannot be reissued.
Please keep your card safely in an inner pocket or similar place so you do not lose it while skiing or snowboarding.

Important Notes

• Chair lift passes purchased online are generally non-refundable and cannot be canceled.
• Even if chair lifts or gondolas are suspended due to weather, snow conditions, or changes in slope operations, chair lift passes remain valid and are not eligible for refunds.
• Unauthorized use, including transfer or resale to others, is prohibited. If discovered, the chair lift pass may be invalidated, and additional fees may be charged.
• Please note that after completing your purchase, it may take approximately 30 minutes for the purchase data to be distributed to the relevant locations, such as ski resort chair lift gates and ticket counters.
• Payment can be made by credit card only, using VISA or Mastercard. Other credit cards are not accepted.
• Purchases cannot be made using feature phones.
• Depending on your computer or smartphone’s operating system, browser type, or version, you may not be able to use the online store.
• Chair lift pass IC cards that can be recharged through the online store include not only the hard-type cards handled by GORYU & HAKUBA47, which require a ¥500 deposit, but also soft-type cards handled by other HAKUBA VALLEY ski resorts. Soft-type cards can also be used for future online recharge purchases if handled carefully and not bent. However, for repeated use, we recommend using the more durable hard-type card.
